Main purpose of Role

Life Vice Presidents are individuals who have been recognised by the Management Committee and Member Clubs as having given outstanding service to the League over a long period of time. Life Vice Presidents may continue supporting the League when required to do so, by undertaking specific tasks, and many demonstrate their support by attending formal occasions such as our Cup Finals and General Meetings.

In general, a Life Vice President would have taken an active part in fulfilling and promoting the aims and objectives of the League for at least 10 years and probably have held a senior position either on the League Management Committee itself or on a body closely associated with the league such as the local Football Association.

A Life Vice Presidency is an Honorary role and, as the name infers, is held throughout the lifetime of any person to whom the title is bestowed.
